Ceremony setup

Ghie sent me a quotation for the ceremony and its way over the budget. Twice our alloted budget. :(

Includes the chairs, gazebo or arc, flowers, and entrance arc.

But it was really beautiful and pretty with all the flowers and setup.

Finally, i have settled the deposit rather full payment for the hair and makeup by Mitch Camaclang.

Not bad really I just pray everything will go well with her.

Im planning to have a retouch or second look and then just add another adult to complete my entourage.

OTD booked

I booked Ms. Gieselle Austria of Infinity wedding events. I am pleased with the wedding planning that we had a while ago. We discussed a lot even though i only booked her as On the day coordinator.

Indeed, i felt it was a leading from God. We discussed regarding the ceremony setup and told her that i really wanted my guest to witness the ceremony and hear the gospel. And i also told her that as early as now im praying for a perfect weather. I was surprised with her answer that it is God's grace.

So now i love her na. Hehe.

Meeting with the coordinator

So im here waiting for Ghie my future OTD coordinator. Why future? Because i havent booked her yet.
Im here to book her actually.

I just pray all things will go well and that Im following God's will.

Hair & makeup

I think its a must to look for a very good hair and makeup artist. Of course, i wanted to look radiant and gorgeous on the wedding day. Not just for my husband but for me as well. Im not really into makeups and kikay stuffs. So i dont know what would fit me or what would look great. So i would leave it to the experts.

Ive been researching for deals and hmua. Then i saw Mitch Camaclang's promo for brides. Where i could have bride and groom hair and makeup plus 5 adults with free 2flower girls. Its really a good deal considering its almost 10k for the bride alone.

But it's still missing retouch or second look. So ill just add i guess.

However, it was hard to deal at first with Mitch. She seems unaccomodating thru emails. Well, i understand because she might be getting tons of emails. And im at fault for not reading clearly.

I still havent received the contract from her yet and if she already reserved me my date. Before i pay the whole amount.

So i guess ill continue to pray for her still if its God's will.

Orange lights and sounds

We booked OLS (Orange Lights and Sounds) last sunday at the themes n motifs bridal fair.

We got the package 2 for only 9k. (10% discount)
Since we wont be having a band or quartet. But opt for friends who would like to sing.

I spoke with Ms. Ghie Austria and she's a delight to talk to. I will also get her for coordination.

Bridal expo

We checked out the themesnmotifs bridal fair at World Trade Center. Im so tired from roaming around the place and checking out different suppliers.

We were supposed to book event stylist, gowns, lights and sounds and makeup.

So far im not yet fully decided and convinced. Will see tomorrow. ;)

Venue reservation

Last monday, we went to intramuros to reserved Puerta Real Gardens.

Costs: 25k+5k electricity + 10% catering fee.

Its very tempting to have a dummy contract, but i know it wont glorify God. So even if it would costs us we will remain to be truthful.

A week before that we did an ocular for venues at Intramuros. We checked out Patio victoria, casa manila, teatrillo, casa blanca, illustrado, la castellana, baluarte san diego, orchidarium,fort santiago. And its the puerta real that caught my heart. Its very spacious and i can already imagine the setup. ;) i just pray it wont rain on our wedding day.

The right side will be fore the reception, the one in the left will be for the ceremony.

We can have cocktails on any other part of the garden.

I do hope that it will be comfortable for us and the guests. Was not able to check out the restroom cause its lock for the public. But im trusting it would be clean (fingers crossed).
